All information you enter — your quit date, cravings, smoking events, check-ins, your personal reason for quitting, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. None of it is sent to us, because we have no server to send it to.
If you use voice logging, your speech is processed using Apple's on-device speech recognition where available. The resulting text is interpreted directly on your device by Quit21 to log an event (for example, a craving or a smoking event). Voice transcripts are not stored as audio, are not sent to us, and are not sent to any third-party or cloud AI service.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. No notification content is generated or delivered by a remote server.
You can export your own data (JSON or CSV) from Settings at any time; the export is saved or shared only where you choose — Quit21 never uploads it automatically. You can permanently delete all local data from Settings → Delete My Data. If you delete the app itself without exporting first, your local data is removed with it.
Quit21 is a one-time paid download. Purchases and billing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or receive your payment details.
Quit21 does not currently read from or write to Apple Health. A future version may add an optional Apple Watch companion that communicates directly between your own devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — not through any server.
Quit21 is intended for adults seeking to quit smoking or vaping and is not directed at children.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no cross-border data transfer to disclose.
